Holiday Schedule and Break

Good afternoon! The Holiday season is here!

I have several things I want you all to be aware of:

Our school Christmas Dinner is Thursday, December 15. Parents/guardians are invited to join their children for lunch. Elementary Lunch (PreK-4) will begin at 10:30 a.m. and middle school lunch will begin around 11:15 a.m. Each student is limited to two adults and any underage children in the family. The meal will be free to guests. Please let your child’s teacher know by Friday, December 9 how many will be joining with the form sent home today, or by e-mail. We can’t take any late RSVPs as the cafeteria needs to know a lunch total for the day.

Friday, December 9 is an early release day for students at noon for professional development for teachers. December 9 is also picture re-take day!

Wednesday, December 21 is the last day of school before Christmas break. Students will be released at noon that day. We will be having an assembly beginning at 8:30 a.m. which will include the November and December Students of the Month, a Christmas performance by our classes and band, and a visit from Santa. After the assembly, parents who are here may dismiss their children by going through their teacher. Bag lunches will be provided for the students that day.

School will resume at LCS on Tuesday, January 3, 2023!
