Limestone Community School is accepting applications for the following anticipated position for the 2026-2027 school year:

5th and 6th Grade Math/Science Teacher

Preference will be given to teachers with appropriate certification and/or experience. LCS uses an outdoor curriculum for much of its science classes, including activities such as hiking, mountain biking, skiing, maple syrup, canoeing, and gardening. Applicants should have an interest in these activities.

Limestone Community School shares a beautiful facility with The Maine School of Science and Mathematics. We have all-day PreK and K programs, a vibrant outdoor learning program, and a refurbished indoor swimming pool. The Pre-K to 8 school is looking for innovative and creative people to fill these open positions and help develop a school that continues to do “what’s best for kids” with its existing staff.
